Today was finally the day Kaitlynn was baptised. After much worrying about going all the way under the water, she was finally feeling brave and ready to be dunked. She came up smiling and wishing that she could "go again." We had quite a good turnout from the ward. Grandma and grandpa Davidson along with uncle Bryce were there of course, but Kaitlynn is pretty well loved in the ward so she had support from many others as well. She gave the talk on baptism herself, which if you know our
Kaity, it should come as no big shocker. She LOVES to be the center of attention! She also wanted to sing the special musical number herself, but I quickly put the brakes on that! :) We are so proud of our little girl! Way to go

Hooray for Kaity - you did it! We are so proud of you!
Hey Ariann, I have that same skirt!
Where did you find yours? Oh, and I don't care if you don't like my ugly chair - it's mine! Acually, I do admit it's ugly, that's why it is outside at the moment! Thanks for thinkin' I am cute - I wish I did!:) I HATE pictures of myself, but i thought I'd be brave an try it! You are cute too!!!!
Good Job Kaitlyn!
Amen to Aubrey's comment. I don't have ugly kids---that would be impossible (lol)! What a special baptism day! Kaity spoke like a grown-up pro, we could understand every single word and she even put some wonderful inflections into her talk. Bishop Blackwelder was blown away by it and told Kaity in his closing remarks what a special girl she is and how proud he is of her. Not as proud as grandma and grandpa however!
Thanks for sharing your special day with us. It was amazing to feel the wonderful spirit there. We enjoyed hearing your testimony too, Ariann. It was also neat to hear Kaity give her talk because there was power in her words. Thanks for inviting us. We were glad we could be there.
That's awesome! Kaity is the cutest! I LOVE your clubhouse/palace. That is awesome. I don't think I could get Luke to build one of those for a million bucks!-Well, maybe a million, definitely not anything less.
I wish you didn't live SO far away!
Congrats, Kaitlyn. That is awesome. Jayden was scared to death as well. I wasn't sure we were going to get him to do it, but he finally came through and said the same thing Kaitlyn said. "I want to do it again." I wish we could meet Kaitlyn. She seems like a fun, sweet and spunky girl. Qualities I love.
Ariann, I can't believe your baby girl just got baptised! Man time flies by!
We took Anna to the neighbor's baptism last weekend and started swim lessons this week because she's gonna need a few YEARS to warm up to the idea of being dunked!
I love that Kaity spoke at her own baptism, she is one strong woman, even at age eight-just like you and your Momma too!
I love your skirt too, why can't you live closer so I can borrow it?
