Kaitlynn ir Braydon? Since I can;t see either of them being that way, I don't know, but I guess I will go with Kaitlynn. What happened? I am sorry I have no advice. On a hppier note--Braydon is adorable in his indian costume!
It's Kaitlynn. I found out today that this has been going on since the beginning of the school year. I am quite upset that the teacher kept it from me until today when they were going to have Kaity suspended. I just feel sick that Kaity could be so mean and without remorse.
Wow, that has to be a tough one to hear. I'm so sorry. I have no idea what you should do. Ask Dr. Phil? I wonder why she's responding like that. Definitely keep us updated on what your plan of action ends up being.
Ethan had some problems with this when he was in kindergarten. Luckily, he had an awesome teacher who let me know what was going on. After he treated a girl in his class unkindly, (putting it mildly) I made him make a card for her and apologize and took away his TV/movie privalidges for a school week. It seemed to work pretty well. The main thing was trying to get him to understand how that made her feel and how it would have made him feel.
Lock her back in the closet Ariann. Just kiddin'. Anna gets the meanies sometimes and comes home roaring at everyone. What works best for her is some extra time alone with one of us parents to let her know that she's special, so she doesn't have to try to prove that by acting out. I know you do this though, I mean, you sat through HSM with all those girls! We're working on a behavior plan where when the kids each earn a week's worth of stickers they get to have a date with a parent of their chosing to do whatever they want. Taking stuff away from my kids hardly ever works so I'm trying to reinforce with something positive...(which means we both win!)
Thanks Wendy! The taking away stuff has not worked in our house either. This week is no tv, cd player or computer. She doesn't even care! Hopefully positive reinforcement will be the key!
I know parenting is a challenge no matter how you look at it. My advice to every Mother is to read Gene R. Cooks book entitled "Raising a Family to the Lord" Best book ever written. He has so many great ideas to the common family problems we all experience. I have had to buy 4 copies because everytime I loan it out to someone they never return it. It's a wonderful Gospel based approach to raising children, from young children to teenagers. Hang in there, this too shall pass and she'll get over it.
Robin has givin me some trouble too. I feel your pain I dont know what to do ether. she has been in "in school suspendtion" I dont think its just Robin but I think she is the loudest so she the one that gets in the most truoble. I think we just need to keep loving them and talking to them and pray alot that things well get better. I will put Kaitlynn in my prayer.
I am a busy wife and mother of four. If I am lucky enough to have a few minutes to myself, I enjoy a good book in a bubble bath. More often than not, I am busy playing "mommy, housekeeper, cook, referee, nurse, and dedicated young women leader." For family time it is hard to catch us at home. We are either relaxing on the beach, trekking through bike trails, or playing tourists at the local amusement parks. We have easily adapted to the Floridian lifestyle. I LOVE wearing flipflops all year long!

That is weird and wrong od the teacher to keep it from you! You would think that she would want you to know so that you can nip it in the bud!!
